Here are some of my photos, I was hoping y'all could give your thoughts on them?

Too many shots to give detailed feed back but here's a few of my thoughts:

1. Cool shot, monocrome works well, nice sky and decent composition. Works well I think.

2. Solid concept, the viewer is a bit too big in the overall image for me but it works.

3. Not sure what to say about this one, looks good enough technically, nice angle but a bit meh on the subject.

4. Boat is lost in the image, you could loose a chunk off the bottom that adds nothing to the image. I'd be tempted to crop this to a 2x1 or 3x1 myself. Make it about the boat and the sky.

5. Nice car BTW. There's a bit of light spill as theres a guy in that shot. I'd get rid of the light trails too as they look accidental. Looks like a little distortion on the car too.

6. The bottom of the image is a bit dark and noiseyamd doesn't really add anything to the image. I'd crop it out but nice enough otherwise.

7. I'd loose the tree in the bottom right corner to make it look a bit other worldy. Wasn't sure about this at first but kinda like it now.

Yes, too many shots. Posting two would have been better. For my tastes, they are all too dark.

I get a lot of comments on how dark my pictures are, I probably need to recalibrate my monitor or my eyes haha.

I was too excited to share my work. I'll take the advice for less pictures fox my next thread.

I do a lot of automotive photography, so I'll weigh in on the car shot. I don't mean to offend, but the lighting with streaks and ghosting ruins it. I see you get the basic premise of light painting, so I'll give a bit of a tutorial. What you can do is take a few exposures and work with them in Photoshop. What you do is take one exposure for the background, then take one for the near side of the car, then one lighting above from behind. Then you open all three and make them layers over the background image. Set the Blending Mode to Lighten for the top two layers (ones of the car). Create layer masks (under Layer, Layer Mask, Reveal All) for the upper two layers (the ones of the car). You simply take the brush tool, using black, and paint over the streaking and ghosting in each layer. It sounds complicated, but it's actually pretty easy. That's how I accomplished this:

Like I said, it's pretty easy once you get used to it.

Too many. I don't try to give C&C for this many at once.

Too small. If you resize them to no larger than 1024 pixels on the longest side, they will show up nicely on here.

If your'e going to post more than one, you should number them.
