Crop and Color Struggle HELP?

Can't offer any useful colour advice from this monitor, however I don't see any issues. Of the two, I prefer the crop in the lower/second image.

Crop looks good. Color isnt bad. Could be a nice bw.

I feel it's slightly too warm.
Also I'd raise the exposure a bit and increase the contrast a tad.

Very nice shot overall by the way.

if anything, I would prefer a horizontal crop on this one... LOL the cut off shoulder seems detract more from this photo than the cut off fingers do from the other photo.
