Crop Ideas, lineup shot.

Any suggestions with the crop on this one. I didn't know whether to take out some of the snow or sky. Any other general critique also welcome.

Inevitably someone is going to say to chop off the snow in the foreground but it is possible that at a larger magnigication the foreground will have some interesting detail. The image as originally presented is too low contrast and that probably needs changing.

In regards to your question, since the sky is semi-excessive above a narrow band, I would crop this as sort of a graphic panoramic image, like this. This looks almost like 3 parallel bands of interesting tones but it is brought to reality by the figure of the surfer.

Thanks for the input. I was taking away from either the snow or he sky, but a combination of both appears nice.
