The 135DC lens is a strange animal. It's got a way of rendering colors and texture all it's own, in comparison to my collection of other more modern fast glass.

These shots are all displayed here with nothing more than lightroom color correction.

... and yes that's my wife again.

Last used one I saw around here was going for $900; not a bad price, but more than I could justify for something I can't really say I need.

I paid $700, it's a quirky lens but with a lot of character

Very nice rendering. Love the color and dimension of the focused image as well as the out of focus.

It's got it's unique favorable attributes but of all in my kit this one has the highest non-keeper ratio due to missed focus. It's an f2 lens, these taken at something like f4

I have the Canon 135mm, F2 and it's a great lens but restricted focal length in what you can use it for. I like using it on cars besides people. Having said that I don't have a wife like that. Shucks!
