This is a really terrific image. Normally text in a photo such as this would be distracting, but in this case, it adds something to that area which does not have much in the way of detail or texture. I do, however, find the fade at the bottom of the image distracting,

I too find that effect distracting.

Too much contrast, too harsh. Was this shot though a window?

you're right about the fade i'll take care of that. this was shot at noon almost into the sun so that might be why it looks a little harsh. thanks for looking and commenting!
