CS3 Download problems?

Anyone been able to download CS3?

I have dialup so it is INCREADABLY slow but it does download. Problem is when I go to install it it say to try downloading again. I've done that twice with no luck.

legitimately downloading or stealing . . . because if your stealing it perhaps cs3 has somthing a feature where you need somthing like zone alarms to keep it from accessing the internet.

i used to download huge stuff on dial-up, and unless it timed out i had no prob.

I'm not quite sure why you assume I am stealing the Beta version of CS3 but to set your mind at ease I am a registered owner of CS2 and CS3 is being offered as a Beta Version to all registered owners.

My computer does not "time out" during the download but when I check the file it is only 160meg and the original is about 330+meg. Obviously it is not downloading the whole file for some reason. I've tried to "Run" it from the dialog box and also "Save" it with no luck.

try to use something like "flashget"....it allows you to resume download....just make sure the initial starting file size is right to begin with

One of the only reasons I would like to be closer to the city is a better internet connection.

I live in a rural area and we are at the end of the transmission line for power, telephone, etc. I can't get highspeed....yet. They have indicated that we might in the next year or so. Dish systems are not very reliable so I haven't gone that route.

So for the time being I am stuck with dialup. Even though it is 2007....

I thought that might be the case. sorry but not sure what your issue is with downloading cs3. maybe you can contact adobe?

how big is the file? have an exe file?

CS3 beta is a free download to anyone who wants it.
