cuban beach,,room for improvement????

this one is from holiday snaps with fuji point and shoot. cuba had its worst weather in 40 years and this was one of the better days...lighting was overcast and in between storms... would it improve with ps...

I really like the first shot, but it was a bit blown out and overexposed. Some touchup work to bring the color up would help.

I like the colors in the second one, but as has been said before, take more care to level up your horizon line. This can be fixed in Photoshop (I use PhotoPaint) later on, but it would make your shots so much better.

Here's a quick edit I did of the second one. I think it is more dramatic and tells more of the 'stormy' story.
