Yes, I think it was. I really like how you handled the corner street light, they can be a pain. Three comments: Correction for the parallax is technically excellent but gives rise to the perception of the top being larger (to my eye anyway) - sometimes leaving just a hint of parallax prevents that perception. Second, for whatever reason, the top-right-center appears darker, perhaps a touch of dodging? Would love to see this in color.

Yes I think is does work. I really like the symmetry of the building. Very clean looking.

I know what You mean. The problem is that in my photos I'm trying to do my best in term of vertical lines/walls straightness (applicable to 99% of my architectural photos). I suppose You may have right about this but I found such pictures (uncorrected, and so on) just messy (this is the way that I find architectural photography). I think that it works in this particular example - it supports idea of cube 'design'.

Actually there was no dodging at all - to be precise. But it may be a slight difference of the lightening angle - TO be honest I haven't see it before

In my opinion color version is a little bit to much disrupting. My intention was to play with the form this time rather than showing a scene.
