These bricks made me stop but this is way more abstract than I know what to do with -- processed in LR and Photoshop -- have a silver efx layer at about 35%, but I really hadn't a clue whether any of it was worth it.

It's a great photo!
I love subjects like this, which imo scream for a "graphic approach" in b&w or color. For me, I would give this image a lot more contrast or even try some (pseudo) solarisation in b&w.
I do think it's a perfect image for experiments in color, I tried something, it's just my idea because many many many effects can be made (I used a Paint.net plugin called Color Dimmer version 1.0).
