The focus does not seem to be as precise as you would wish it to be in the first two, while the last is good. Eyes in focus, that is what you want. Pre-focus your A540 until the little square shows right on the eyes, then you are "safe". With this little model of yours you seem to have had someone there curious enough to watch you do your antics with the camera and not run away .
Only the cropping of the last is not ideal since you "sever" off his one leg right at his knee, which is a kind of no-no, so I have learned on TPF, no less, i.e. to "sever" through people's joints. Anywhere else is acceptable, just not at the joints.
