I think it is a very well done HDR. The second image is actually more crisp though- when you look closely at the sharpened image you can see a lot of micro-contrast and digital chromatic aberration. You did a great job getting the exposures blended and I like that you did not make it look like a cartoon.

I did notice the slightest bit of CA. Thanks for the comments though, I believe my brother wants this as a print in his new house. A bit of a compliment! I dislike the halo/over done HDR stuff and it all seems to come out of the "processors", rather than layering the images and getting to work with masks.
