Anyone tried this combination? I have problems with instaling drivers.

I don't have vista but I am curious which problems you are having. Do you mean to say that you need drivers for the camera itself or to download the files?

Drivers for what? you don't need drivers to use the USB cord to connect the camera to the computer.

I never connect my camera to the PC. Rather use a memory card reader.

I would rather have my memory card reader blow and ruin my memory card rather than something else go wrong and damage my camera.

usayit - thanks, I think thats it.
PushingTin - very good point (never consider it) but sometimes I would like to have pictures directly on the screen to show people what they will get
