D200 vs D5100 IQ poll

So the D200 is dated, and the D5100 has the superior sensor/processor, but by how much? To what degree do we judge image quality? And how easy is it to see the difference?

Below are two pictures, can you guess which is the D200 and which is the D5100? I tried to get the frame as close as possible, but my wife came in and bumped the tripod All settings were the same between both cameras, shutter, ISO, WB, Aperture, metering, and manual focus, captured using Camera Control Pro 2, cropped and resized only in PS.

try the same experiment at 800 ISO.I own 2-200's,but have never touched the 5100.I'm willing to bet that the 5100 handles noise a lot a better,as I also own the 7000 (same sensor as 5100).

...gotta admit tho,its difficult to tell....i'm looking for noise in the blacks.When i shoot at night,it seems very obvious which body i was using.At 800 the d200 seems quite noisy...

Could just be me but the biggest difference I've found in the higher MP sensors isn't so much the image quality as shot, but rather your ability to crop the image and still maintain decent IQ.
