D3300 feature questions.

Hi everyone,

As I get more familiar with my camera and some photography concepts, I have found a couple features maybe missing on my camera. I looked at my manual but haven't found any information about them, so they are missing because this is an entry level camera or for some reason I have yet to found them. Ok, so here they are:

- Histogram data. I am only availbale to see some basic data when loooking at pictures taken, like date, time, pic name, etc but no exposure information.

- High speed flash sync. I have seen some videos about issues of having flash properly exposing the picture at higher shutter speeds. I made the test and the max is 1/250. If I do this at 1/320 or higher, I get the black block. I did not find in the camera menu the option to activate this sync.

Thanks for the help. If they are available in this model, please your help to guide me on how to access them.

Not sure about histogram but it doesn't do hss flash

Perfect, the option was not activated by default in the camera. I am able to see it now. Thanks

The lower end bodies don't have certain features such as
Mirror Up - MUP as it is called. Not to be confused with having the mirror Lock Up for cleaning purposes.
can't recall. I had a short list of items but your AutoFocus and Focus Areas are also limited compared to better bodies. Not until the d7x00 do you get really good performance features.
