Hey Everyone,

I shoot mostly landscapes, portraits and flowers. D7000 with 10-20 Sigma, 16-85, 105 macro and 35 1.8 or D800 with 50 1.8 and 24 2.8? I currently have the D7000 setup but I am still in the 30 day return window with Amazon. I heard the D7000 replacement will most likely be announced this month (D7100 or D400) so I figure the D800's good for at least 4 years and would help me to improve my landscape and portrait work. Both setups cost the same amount give or take. What do you think? Thank you!

Are you prepared to deal with the file sizes that the D800 produces? You'll need more hard drive space, and more RAM to sort through it all in reasonable amounts of time. 36mpx files are HUGE. How big do you print?

Your D800 with 50mm and 24mm lenses is not ideal for portraits and flowers. I would keep the D7000 set up.
