D80 Flash

Hey everyone, I've been looking into getting a flash for my birthday along with a few lenses. As for the flash, I was looking into Nikon's SB-600. I plan on using it for some indoor stuff, helping out with my schools pictures for the yearbook (Not the actual portraits, just clubs and activities that go on in the school, including some indoor sports) and the occasional concert for my buddies band.

As for the lenses, I was planning on getting the Nikkor 35mm 1.8, and 50mm 1.8. The 35mm would be for general use, and I planned on using the 50mm for indoor sports.

You have some great ideas, I don't think that the primes are the best for sports... even indoor sports. I am partial to zooms I guess, but I think they are more convenient when it comes to sports.

The flash would be a great addition.

Sports aren't my main concern, I wouldn't say it would be a rare occasion for me to shoot them, but I'd like to shoot a basketball game at my school now and then. They will mostly be used for nature shots.
