D80 not turning on

i went to charge my battery for my D80 last night. it was working just fine before. but when i put the battery back in. i get no power at all. does not even show "how many pictures remaining" this is the 2nd time that this happened to me. first time it started to work after 30 mins. now i dont know what to think. can anyone help me?

How many charge cycles has it been thru?
