Great portrait. Having said that, if I would be pressed for a critique, I would say that there is a touch of a "style over substance" in all this, it takes away some of the intimacy of a good portrait. But, again, having said that, it is still a great protrait. Just my 2 pence.

Both are good, each in its own way..

Both are very good, but personally? I like the second one better of the 2. Although the background in the first one seems more portrait like.
