I've been practicing quite a bit and posting quite a bit as well.. I hope I'm not annoying anyone!! You'll get a break from me since I go back to work on Friday.

I was in a flower kind of mood, so that was my subject for the day... I wanted to practice my depth of field and I also wanted to practice post processing. I really like the look of this!! :thumbup: As always, any feedback is greatly appreciated!

My phones acting up so I can't see the picture but do you mean chromatic aberration? Magenta/green fringe?

It looks like you over sharpened it. Would you mind posting the original? Also such an intense vignette is getting to be very overdone, its a bit tacky... try lightening it a bit.

Just a thin outline around the hand. In some spots it looks like CA in others it just looks like blur. Could be something from PP.

The original picture is actually naturally has a slight vignette. Try redoing your PP and take the vignette about 1/3-1/2 down, and the sharpening to about half way what you have it. Then try to mess with the vibrancy a bit... (sorry that sounded bossy... Lol. But seriously try it and see what you think.)

How do you access this info.. Yes, I have a problem figuring out the correct aperture.

Ok, I give up...How do you adjust vibrance? Can you adjust in on a jpeg or is it only in raw??? I'm still trying to find my way around PSE!!

Might I suggest you download the 30 day free trial of Lightroom 3. It makes all of those edits I know you want to make, super easy. It's laid out in a fool proof way. I own the 50 f/1.8 and would not shoot with it at 1.8 for anything that I wanted to keep. Check this out: Nikon nikkor AF-D 50mm f/1.4 vs AF-D 50mm f/1.8

As for the exif, I use firefox and an add on that allows me to right click to view it.

Thank you.. I have a 30 day trial that came with my PSE10, but I haven't tried it yet. I'll install it tomorrow and check it out.

As of tonight, I will no longer shoot at 1.8!!

I personally keep it at 2.2 or above for that lens, I just find the results to be more consistently pleasant.
