Well, for logics sake, how did the blood get on the top of the knife? There would also be smeared blood on the knife, and the cut carrot pieces.

I think he needs to watch "dexter" and learn blood splatter!!!

I agree with the Dexter, blood spatter and blood on top of the knife comments. In addition, it seems a little thick to be blood, looks a lot like paint. Maybe thin it out just a tad with water?

Otherwise pretty neat shot.

composition and exposure looks pretty good but have to afgree it doesn't look very realistic if that was the intent. A split piece of finger on the cutting board would give it an add

Sorry, just not digging it. What's the carrot have to do with anything? The red paint...looks like red paint. Nice picture in terms of lighting, exposure focus...etc....but why? ....Was there a theme or assignment for the photo class?

I think the photo has potential, but the first thing I thought when I saw it was "ketchup". If the blood was a little more realistic, you would have a winner.

Thanks! That's why i plan on retaking it after i learn how to make real fake blood. Haha
