Database software??

Hi there, virgin poster here!

I didn't see an appropriate forum for posting this non camera question but here goes.

I need to use a software program that allows me to hold a database of jobs, client info, invoicing, image storage etc that works together and preferably cross platform. I was recommended 'Filemaker Pro' by a designer I work with. Anyone else use this? Is it good? Are there better programs out there? :?

This would be as good of a place as any on this forum to ask this type of question. However, if you went to the brother forum, http://www.thesupportforum.com , you would probably get a better responce.

I use Access for all of my tracking because you can always make the DB bigger if you need. There is a steep learning curve with how to get it to do exactly what you want, but once you get started, there is nothing like it. The only bad thing about Filemaker Pro, that I've seen is that it does most of the things a standard way and isn't easy to change.
