I have his book "Within The Frame: The Journey Of Photographic Vision", and found his writing and his images pretty pedestrian, which is why I only have the 1 of his book.

That's one of the best I found from him. Looked pretty good, but what do you mean by pedestrian? Like too informal or casual?

Like uninspired, mundane, average. Like there are lots and lots of pedestrians.

Gotcha! I think I'll go with Joe McNally's books for now then, and maybe give duChemin a chance in the future.
