Very nice, what a great subject and so close you've got great detail.

I do reckon they are a bit on the grey side again, I'd try setting a white and black point in post as the tonal range is quite compressed.

Thanks! I usually don't have trouble with light like I did that morning, it was very cloudy/over cast at first with sporadic little changes of light here and there which messed with the light meter, it was all over the place and wouldn't stay in one spot so it wasn't easy getting a good reading and the light was very grayish and dim. Maybe I should've just switched to AUTO ISO. I'll chalk it up to experience.
