Daybreak Blossoms Shred me with C&C

Tell me what I can do to improve

It's a nice-image as-is Ed, but the blossoms seem slightly under-exposed. If you have Lightroom or another application with selective adjustment capability, I would work on trying to bring up the exposure just on the blooms and the leave the rest.

Not a layer, a selection. No, I'm not good at it either. Hopefully he'll chime back in.

You want know what I think? Of course you do...!! If you look at this shot, the blurred flower is the one at the top of the flowers he is showing here which is his main subject. He should not have blurred that one...it just look odd that since that one is the top flower, it is blurred. Now the top blurred flower, either that be removed altogether or if you can reshoot, include that bunch. Or delete the blurred lower flower and reposition the main subject to cross the line from the lower left corner to the top right corner of the frame.

I think reshooting will be a better proposition as it will be easier to put your camera on the right path with the ISO, WB, SS and Aperture better than editing a whole heap though it will be good exercise for you to do some editing...
