Daybreak in the Garden

Took these some time ago . . . back when the weather was nice here in Ohio. I'd never really done a walk-through of a local public garden so I figured I'd give it a shot. Of course, c&c is welcome.

1) Nikon D5100 55-300mm @ 102mm, f4.8, 1/250 sec, ISO 250

2) Nikon D5100 55-300mm @ 55mm, f4.5, 1/640 sec, ISO 100

3) Nikon D5100 55-300mm @ 280mm, f5.6, 1/60 sec, ISO 100

4) Nikon D5100 55-300mm @ 165mm, f5, 1/200 sec, ISO 100

5) Nikon D5100 55-300mm @ 55mm, f4.5, 1/640 sec, ISO 100

6) Nikon D5100 55-300mm @ 110mm, f4.8, 1/320 sec, ISO 100

No one else? Jeez, I'd rather get panned than get nothing. At least then I'd know what I need to work on!

You need a reflector as you are losing the shadow side, especially if you are going to back light

Fill the frame, don't let a dominant color overpower the in focus part of the image. Watch your DoF and crop tighter of, fill the frame. Intent is half the battle.
