Days Gone By ~ A marker plate displayed in the rear window of a friend's van that called to my camera yesterday. Fifty years ago and those times remain so vivid, the turmoil and cultural shift left their mark on the nation on many levels. Some might rather forget, some still cling on, and some couldn't remember if they wanted to.

I remember it as the era that dreamed it were a butterfly and that freedom was free. Then the flames slowly died down and the dream went up in a wisp of smoke.
