DC Cherry blossoms

took this shot over the weekend and have been playing around with it in LR. the blue is a bit oversaturated as I was playing with test prints and my printer always seems to dull the blue. forget to turn it back down a bit before posting to flickr. C&C please.

I would have cropped the bottom to make the waters edge meet the corner of the frame and bumped up the contrast a little. But thats just my personal preference. I like it though. nice shot.

Agreed. Other than that, I like it a lot. I don't mind the over saturated blue at all.

I'll third those two. The colors are oversaturated but they still seem balanced and I like the look.

I would lower exposure and add a small vignette. I think the water and trees are too bright.

I like it as is. If anything I'd remove some blue from the buildings in the background, and then adjust the hue of the blues to it's less cyan and more "royal" blue.

Then I'd rotate it a few degrees CCW to level up the horizon a bit.

thanks all, I modified the crop when I printed this at 11x14. also did some more tweaking on color/contrast and I think it came out pretty good.

didn't add a vignette, not a big fan out them

You wouldn't be able to tell, I was thinking -5 or so. It would just darken the water and trees for you. You could also burn.
