Shot right in the sun. Good lens, no flare, just a slight cross (maybe front element a bit greasy). Well I am blinded by this sun, have a "trouble" to see that dead tree. Maybe red filter would help with control of the contrast.

Ussualy don't go for a red filter becouse the shadows in most cases gets to dark and you can get too much contras.
I mostly use a yellow filter but I diden't use anything on this shot.
And this was a one of my first test shots with this camera and lens.
The lens is a vintage 3 element that don't have any filter thred or anything for filter.
But if one really liked to use the lens with filter one could build a litte holder of some sort.

Always possible. Lately I solved a problem of using filters with my folders. No modifications just Cokin holder for P&S and two strong (rare earth) magnets.
