Hey guys,

What do you think of this?

[ame]http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0007QKN22/ref=pd_cps_e_1/102-2625296-3513719?v=glance&s=photo&n=172282[/ame]

One of the amazon merchant sellers are selling the D Rebel XT for $550.00 I know that usually deals like this are too good to be true, and the store is usually trying a bait and switch technique. But since this an Amazon Merchant seller, it is covered under Amazons A-Z Garauntee, in which case they give you a refund if you don't recieve the item.

Anyway, so what do you think? Good Deal? or Scam?

Thanks,
Julie

Trust your instincts. From what I've heard, deals like this often don't include things like batteries, battery charger, connecting cables, instruction manual, camera strap...etc. Some outfits use the low price to entice people to call and then employ high pressure sales to get you to buy the needed accessories.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but since it's covered under Amazon's garauntee, I'm wondering if I should go ahead and try it just in case... Does Amazon place any quality restrictions on their Merchants?
