I can't view eBay from work, but having looked at a LOT of these deals, I'll offer you some blind advice: If the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Read the seller's feeback very carefully; do people complain about long delivery times, out of stock items and/or being pressured to buy additional gear? If it's one of those package deals where you get a tripod and cards and filters and lenses, be very careful; the add-on accessories are usually of very poor quality. There is also a LOT of grey-market merchandise being sold that way.

Personally, I always recommend buying from a local, reputable dealer. This way, if there's a problem, guess what, you walk in to the store and ask for help. If the camera needs warranty repair? No problem, off it goes. When you buy at a store, yes, you may pay a little more, but it will often translate into discounts down the road when you buy accessories.

Good luck!

Thank you Tired! I think those offers are a bit to good to be true, I mean they are selling tripods, 4-5 lenses, the camera itself, bags, etc, etc, for about the price you could by just the camera and the lens at the store...
