I tried logging in from my computer today and I'm getting a message that my IP address has been banned???

I don't know if that was a result of LaFoto accidentally banning my other account, but... could someone please fix it? Maybe? Pretty please?

I clicked the "contact admin" button and sent a message about it already, but I'm posting here too just in case a Mod is able to expediate the process?

I only *had* one account. erose86 got accidentally banned by LaFoto when she was banning a spammer, because she didn't realize I had posted in the thread, and did a destructive sweep on everyone in the thread (which she THOUGHT was only the spammer). She didn't think she could bring back the other account, so I abandoned that one and created this one.

It was fine for a day (or has it been 2 already?), but now my IP address is banned... which I'm assuming is the result of the original banning.

Apparently LaFoto *was* able to recover erose86, although all the posts are lost forever, but the problem is now that my *IP ADDRESS* is banned all of a sudden... so it doesn't matter if my name is "erose86"... "e.rose" ... "eflower92"... or "pleaseunblockmyIPadresssoIcangetthef**kbackonTPF" ... none of it matters because my IP address is blocked so I can't get on from any of the computers in the house.

Well if you have a cable modem, unplug it for a few hours (sometimes a little more) usually it will receive a new one when you plug it back in. Unless you have a static IP (slim chance unless you're a business customer). Also if you call your ISP, and just tell them you are having an issue with your ISP, they can take that IP out and let it assign a new one.

You can also use certain websites that will route you through their servers to act as a proxy and mask your IP.
