The backside of a store that had a very nice facade. A metaphor for my area.

I like the subject matter and the composition, but I think it needs to be squared up. You could use skew to do it. The upper window would end up very close to the edge but I still think it would look better.

I did ry getting everything square but it turns out that the building itself is all out of square. Notice the bottom window and and siding is straight.

Some tweaking to get this squared up.

You needed to have been about 5ft to the left when you took this to be square .... I don't think it matters all that much, love the rust....have any closeups of it?

I think that was the case. The building had a slant towards the river (left of frame) so I think that was the issue.

Huh.... I saw the title and thought to myself, "How did runnah get the results of my last dental exam?".

This shot shows EXACTLY why you should have a T/S / PC lens in your bag! ;)

Are you thinking to fix the skew or to add some juice to the photo by doing fancy blurring tricks?

Personally, I think the out-of-squareness of the image exaggerates the dilapidated state of the subject, creating some visual discomfort that works with the photo rather than against it.
