Decent Tripod

I'm looking for a decent tripod. I have one is Manfrotter, and I like it so much because it is lightweight. However, I guess I need another one for weather proof and durable. Any suggestion is welcome!

The Three brands that I recommend for a tripod are these; Gitzo, Manfrotto, and Vanguard I feel that you can't go wrong with one of these and it depends on what price range your look at to determine which one you prefer. I personally own a Manfrotto, just like you and I enjoy it a lot. It's extremely lightweight and very useful. Having a second one is a good idea for sure.

I also know that Gitzo, has a new line of Ocean tripods which might be what your looking for since you want one that is weather proof and all.

My tripod is pretty stable in light wind. I get some sharp pictures. It is easy to carry around every where I go. I get a liittle worry a little rain gets in the my tripod and corroding.

Hooray!! I just bought a right tripod from my local camera store. It is far better than my previous one and much more stable. I just don't understand why someone asked me to buy a $600 tripod?
