Declaration

It seems a little dark, but I like it alot. It is actually part of a statue of of Jefferson(I believe) standing at a podium signing the document. I wanted to get a shot that noone else would take. Unfortunately I only had an 18-55 lens with me at the time. That will change as soon as I get the cash for a Canon EF-S 10-22 USM

It's very good, but it took me a while to figure out the feather... at first it looked like someone's hair

Maybe if you could change the angle a bit so the featheris not seen right from the top but a bit from the side?

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll reshoot it and try another angle like you mentioned Krueger.

I personally like the dark side to the picture.

I also like the dark side of the picture, and it is interesting because it does take a 2nd glance to recognize it is a hand but once you realize it adds significance to the photo...id try to crop the photo differently so where the pen is touching the paper would be centered. I really like the color scheme!
