Hi guys,
So it's time for me to buy a new laptop that would serve me for photo editing, but also school stuff.
Since both are almost at the same price, which do you recommend? I've always been a windows/android person, but I wouldn't mind the switch.

Working in both, there is one spicific factor that I run with.

Stability!

Windows is not stable.

If you're using it for school you may have some issues if you haven't taken your IT classes yet if you go with a Mac. Most schools require you to learn the entire Office Suite and not all the programs in it are compatible with Mac's. If you're done with your IT classes then either should work fine. Personally, I hate Mac's but I know they're supposed to be really good for art and graphics and a lot of people prefer them over Windows.

Modern Windows is as stable or more stable than Mac OS. Yes, I have both. Yes, I use Windows for PS and DxO Photolab. Yes, I bought a modern and incredibly fast gaming laptop with discrete graphics for a little over $1k. Perfect for photo/video editing. No crashes or hang ups, and easier to troubleshoot than a Mac.
