Derelict Staircases

Two of the best from when I went out and about with ferny;

1. Metal Staircase

2. Rusty Staircase

1 has potential for a very graphic image because of these lines and the repeating patterns. If so, I think it might come out stronger if the perspective is more straight. As for 2, it has a strong feel of the "abandoned" milieu, the colors are helpful here.

Looks a bit spooky, great background for a self-portrait.

the bottom 3rd of #1 is so dark...thats the part I dont care for. I dont know where the stairs GO...know what I mean?

#2 is better. Still kinda dark, but maybe without the darkness it wouldnt be as spooky, like the pp said.

I'm going to see if I can shoot these ones better - they are the best of a bad bunch but still can't help thinking they are more of a work in progress!!

Plus I have the weekend free so I can have some fun with these buildings again!!!
