So, I've been on this kick lately where I am trying to compile a bunch of photos to use for my desktop backgrounds. I've learned that "complicated = bad" when it comes to the backgrounds, because it distracts me and overstimulates my eyes if I'm staring at the computer for a long period of time. I've also learned what's visually pleasing and relaxing. It's kinda been a fun experiment.
Anyway, here are three I did over the last few days. Any C&C? I know the subject matter isn't terribly interesting, but keep in mind my criteria of what I'm going for.
1.
2.

I feel like this one is the most promising. I took it by moonlight. The EXIF data on this one was f/2.2, ISO 200, 35mm, 30s. My own critique on this one was too large of an aperture. My DOF was too shallow as a result.
