Some shots from a great halloween display in my neighborhood! My first shoot.

Some people in my neighborhood have an incredible halloween display set up in their front yard. They were nice enough to let me roam around in their yard and take pictures for two and a half hours.

This is my first ever real photo shoot. I just got my first DSLR last week (D90). I'm not really looking for any critiques, as I know where most of my errors are. Just thought I'd share the zombies with ya.

Shot with my 18-105mm kit lens. Some shot with florescent white balance to add more blue to the scene. No editing (not even cropping) yet.. straight from my memory card.

It was a lot of fun!

(The little red light in his shoulder drives me nuts.. going to get rid of that later)

I had trouble getting a decent shot of that skull because my crappy uneven/wobbly/half-broken 1970's tripod wouldn't go high enough. Only about 4ft.

Good... I like the perspective. Nicely composed, even if it wasn't 100% intentional.
