Here is a pic that I took in February in the mountains here in Idaho. I think it came out pretty cool.

I think if it were mine, I might consider cloning out the few bits of tree sticking up above the back ridge.

It might be my monitor but i find those trees on the back ridge essential to seeing the back slope. Having them there gives more depth to the picture. Cloning them out would, imo, take away from the shot.

That is exactly what happened. I did a quick edit earlier, and it was tough to see the slope/horizon divide, so I just left it as is.

Love the picture! And I like the trees on top--wonder how it would look if they were a little larger?
