Would this picture be better in B&W? It's probably a bit too much on the bright side. Also can anyone give me advice on the angle that I took this in? In my head, I was trying to imagine the grid for rule of thirds and was trying to align the actual bridge with the top horizontal line of that grid. Don't know if that was the best call though. What do you guys think? Anything else that's noteworthy to mention about this pic? Any advice would be great!

I might have tried a lower angle. I don't care for the slivers of sky at the top edge and there's little of interest in the bottom edge. I don't know what processing you did, but I might have tried to create a more contrasty photo with various sliders in Lightroom.

Why is this a PNG image and not a JPG? It's also quite large at 4000x3000px and 22 MB - that's asking a lot for many people on slower connections, not to mention giving access to a full resolution image to those who think if it's on the Net, it must be free. I've taken to reducing my posted images to no more than 1080px on the short side and slightly lower quality for web use.

Beautiful location and it looks like you have some skills. Keep workin' it.

A lower angle... I didn't even think of taking this shot from the bottom. Thanks!

Oh and I actually adjusted the curves and increased vibrance on this pic in PhotoShop. I don't know too much about post processing so I just did the 2 simplest things I could think of, you know? I then saved it as a .png out of habit. Before getting into photography, I was in another forum that preferred the images to be saved in .png
