Do you know WHAT really made the clouds differ so much from the rest in that area of the sky? Was there a fire going on somewhere in the distance?

There was no fire, but I can't tell what you makes it so colorful. We normally get at least a couple of these a week :heart: Our sunsets are WAY better than our sunrises!

beautiful skies and great expanse.. love the colors..
although i like the 'volume' of the sky in teh first .. i do prefer the second version... minimalist and just nice.. sweet composition..my kinda shot
