Did you get photo gear for Christmas?

I got a polarizing filter, remote shutter release, tripod and a subscription to practical photography. Oh and i'm planning on getting someone toner/dye for prints, maybe Colorvir effects kit.

That's cool, I want a remote shutter release myself. I recently picked up shutterbug at a grocery store, do you prefer practical photography?

mentos: Are you going to need all 100 now? Hopefull not it is nice to have extras.

I've never seen shutterbug, I'm guessing its American. I usually get Either practical photography or amateur photographer, both good.

Still a damn good camera, wish i had one.

What do you mean slr-"style"?
Do you mean it looks like a SLR, but doesn't really 'have' a Single Lens Reflex? That is a little confusing to say the least.

Still a great camera though!

I got an Opteka 600mm - 1600mm telephoto lens. The lens works great for an inexpensive model.

A much-needed Slik tripod with quick release head, and a shutter release cable for the Pentax (a Pentax-proprietary item, way overpriced).

Barely a dent in the wish-list, but Santa made a great start!
