Took a little trip over to a nice National Wildlife Refuge called St. Marks in NW Florida and happen-chanced upon a nice variety of birds.

Eagle - unfortunately really too far away for a decent shot but so rarely can get close to these guys.

BD, very nice collection. I think I like the Kingfisher in flight (#5?) the best.

Thanks. Kingfisher's in flight are special treats. They are small, fast and very skittish around humans. The Wood Storks were probably in stun phase as the day before the temp was in the 70's and that morning when I shot this, hovering around 34.

Really nice! Hard to pick, but I think I'll go with the crowd - #5.

Love number 2, never seen a night heron, maybe someday. The rest are all awesome photos too
