The lens copes very well with low light aided by the IS, IBIS and the great lowlight ability of the R6.

Panning birds in flight is a bit trickier as the lens only uses a square area in the center of the sensor. That said, the animal eye tracking AF is just stunningly fast and accurate if you can keep the subject within that central AF area.

Interesting I almost bought the R6 but got the 90 instead (a bit cheaper).

I have heard that the AF for most subjects is like magic.
