Shooting in the rain can be productive...nice soft light and lots of time with quality light.
Shooting from the vehicle since I broke my foot, the vehicle does allow me to stay dry.
I was using a Canon RF 200-800mm lens which is F9 "wide open" at 800mm, f8 at 600mm,
so enough light for that lens which struggles with low light conditions.
Some photos from yesterday in the rain.
"Vesper Sparrow Singing in the Rain"
Short-eared owl
Black-necked stilt
Spotted Sandpiper, (a darker background typically helps show rain).
A drake Mallard.
