dirty dishes

I don't really get it?? What is the focal point....the only part that's somewhat clear is the bottom of the pic, the edge of the dishes???

I'm also a bit confused about what the intention is of the pic?? Is it supposed to be something to hang on my wall....is it a study in contrast???

I had no intention of anything really.

I see the glass as the focal point, although come to think of it now it seems it is pushed back a bit. It seems robbed of glory somewhat by the hard edges of the plates.

If I had to do it all over again I'd make the dishes more dirty.
