Disc Golf

I've recently started taking pictures of my husband and his friends when they are out playing disc golf. My Kodak doesn't do the greatest at action shots but I have managed to get a couple that I really like. I welcome any pointers that anyone can give me!!

I really like how the disc seems to glow in this picture, even though it was in the dark when I got the shot.

This is my friend Clint half way through his wind up for his throw.

The disc is blurry in this one but I still like the picture.

Keep in mind that I am using a point and shoot Kodak Z710. I really want to move up to something better but I just don't have the cash for that right now. But any pointers on how to make my shots better with what I have will be more than welcome!!!
