Do-it-yourself photo tour of Cuba

I want to take my mom on a short, do-it-yourself photo tour of Cuba. Does anyone have any experience or sugestions for something like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive been to cuba a few times, what exactly do you want to do, im not following here.

I am wondering if there are any travel packages, places to stay, guides, etc that people have had experience with in Cuba. Is it easy to get around the island, get good photo opportunites, etc? Specifically, my mom's categories in an upcoming competition are "old" and "rooftops". I thought Cuba would be a great place to get some pictures of these themes. Any other tips are welcome. Thanks in advance.
