Do these work?

Do these look ok or weird or right or not? It's hard to critique your own work (with your own child), are they too soft or does it work?

i like the second one..but on the first one the child does not look very happy..

hmm..i do not know enough about photography..so i cannot tell if they are too soft...but i like them..

Yes, both images seem too soft to me. Both images also look like they need more contrast. I would also strongly encourage you to crop out a huge portion of the sky. It is really bright and draws my eye away from the subject.

haha I dont thikn he's s upposed to look happy in the first one So cute. They are nice but I am a contrast freak and so I say a tad more and you'll be good to go. :thumbup:
