Yeah, but she's been down graded. Never know what will happen between now and tomorrow, when she makes land fall though. We've had so many over the years, we feel towards hurricanes, like Californians do towards earthquakes. We even had one of those earlier in the week. Now that was a different experience.

I lightened the original picture a little. Of course, the background was lightened too, so he still blended in.
But, I think mother nature meant for him to blend in with the background, especially rocks. They are also known as mountain lions. So, they blend in with the rocky backgrounds for protection and to help sneak up on their prey. That's also why the zoo put the rocks with him, since it's his natural habitat. That being said, it probably is underexposed a touch. I'm definitely not a pro at this, and at my age, probably never will be. I'm just having fun with it............... Glad it was still a fun shot for you.

Yeah, that was different this week. I've been through a few hurricanes, but this was my first quake....... and I'm an old geezer too.

I live just outside of Raleigh and we've had a few bands of rain earlier this evening. I have family that live in Morehead City and they are sitting tight. Folks on Topsail Island have already boarded up, but it isn't a primary home.
